About

My name is Christopher Ash. I have been studying Gendlin’s philospophy for about twenty years. I have intensively read his A Process Model since 2006. I also attended many classes online with Gene Gendlin, which were organized by my Focusing trainer Ann Weiser Cornell. I’ve also read the book through two times with Rob Parker in his online classes, and I’m currently reading it again in one of Rob’s groups. Gene’s work has been a spiritual path for me, and has illumined my Buddhist path.

I am a certified Focusing trainer. I am a retired psychotherapist (where I have seen this approach to experiencing reliably change lives). I am also a Buddhist teacher in the Insight (Thai Forest) tradition. I am the creator and administrator of this site.

I live in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney, with my wife novelist and Buddhist teacher Joyce Kornblatt,
